GAMEDAY NOTES:
- Kickoff for the game is 2:30 p.m. at Sanford Stadium.
Parking for the Georgia Game
University of Alabama fans attending the football game with Georgia on Oct. 4 should be aware of new parking regulations on the Georgia campus.
More seats, tighter parking; try carpooling
With an additional 5,000 seats in Sanford Stadium and the loss of the two largest parking lots (east campus and Coliseum) due to building construction, parking will be tighter than ever. Carpooling will be very beneficial whenever possible.
Please don't park on the sidewalks....
Parking on all sidewalks within Athens-Clarke County is illegal; however, particular attention will be paid this year to Sanford Drive between Cedar Street and Carlton Street. This stretch of road has been designated as a primary emergency vehicle access road and the sidewalks must be clear for pedestrian traffic. Violators will be towed from this area. Vehicles parking illegally on any sidewalk have a risk of being towed.
RV Parking
With the addition of new buildings as well as several currently under construction, there is no longer any RV parking available on the main campus. The University has arranged for availability of several off-campus lots through Prestige Parking, Inc. Season and single game permits may be obtained from Prestige Parking, Inc., by calling 706-357-9613 or by email at jpierce920@aol.com.
RV owners are strongly encouraged to have proper advance reservations and/or accommodations prior to arrival in Athens.
