Tide Softball Picked Second in the SEC West Division

The Southeastern Conference softball coaches have selected the University of Alabama softball team to finish second in the SEC West Division in the 2003 SEC Preseason Coaches' Poll.
The Crimson Tide received two first place votes to win the West while also receiving a vote to win the SEC regular season championship.
The LSU Tigers were voted to win the 2003 SEC Championship, garnering five of the 11 first place votes.
Georgia was picked to win the SEC East Division, receiving seven first place votes. The Bulldogs were also picked to be the overall SEC runners-up.
The Crimson Tide will open the 2003 season on the road in Los Angeles, California in the Stacy Winsberg Memorial on January 31-February 2.
