2006 (Sophomore): Stabler started at right guard in each of the first eight games before his streak ended when he missed the Florida International game due to an injury. It was the first of three games he would miss due to an injury. He tallied nine total starts on the year. Recorded five or more knockdowns in seven of his first eight games before suffering an injury. He finished with 48 knockdowns. He led the team in three games with a season-high nine against Hawai’i, seven at Arkansas and five at Tennessee. He played a total of 449 snaps with a season-high of 66 at Florida. He played over 50 snaps in six of his nine games.
2005 (Freshman): After not playing in the first game, Stabler became a staple on the Tide’s offensive line starting the final nine games of the season. He was in on 609 snaps including a season high 69 snaps against South Carolina. He helped Tide running back Kenneth Darby become the fourth Alabama running back ever to post back to back 1,000 yard seasons.
2004 Redshirted, an unfortunate finger injury, which required surgery, pushed B.J. to a redshirt year.
Prep: Stabler was an ASWA Super All-State selection, class 3A Lineman of the Year and was on the Birmingham News' Super Senior list as a prep senior. He was listed by SuperPrep magazine as the state's 8th-best prospect and the No. 32 offensive lineman nationally. He was a two-year All-State selection. Rivals.com listed Stabler as its 14th -best offensive guard and No. 83 on their Southeast Elite 88 list. Stabler was highly-regarded for his good size, quick feet and strong work ethic.
Personal: B.J. is the son of Marilyn and James Stabler. He has two brothers, Tamyron and Justin. B.J. was in Beta Club, Buddies, Spanish Club and was listed in Who's Who as a prep senior. Born 4-5-86. He is in pre-major studies.
