Matt graduated in August with a degree in Management.
2005 (Senior): Miller played in every game for the Tide this season, primarily on special teams, but he came up with several key plays to help Alabama to its 10-2 season. In Alabama’s 13-10 victory over Texas Tech in the Cotton Bowl, Miller came up big with two catches for 27 yards. Against Ole Miss, Miller hauled in a crucial seven-yard pass to help keep the Tide’s final drive alive and eventually kick the game-winning field goal. In Bama’s victory over Mississippi State, with the offense struggling, Miller collected a fumble on the opening kickoff of the second half and returned it 15 yards for his first career touchdown to help put the game out of reach. He finished the season with four catches for 52 yards and recorded four tackles on special teams. Miller played in 254 snaps with a season high 43 snaps coming against Texas Tech in the Cotton Bowl.
2004 (Junior): A valuable special teams player, Matt saw action in every game, playing a career-high 38 snaps in the Western Carolina game. He had one reception in that game. He finished with 190 snaps on the season.
2003 (Sophomore): A valuable member of the special teams, Matt played 61 snaps in 11 games. He had one tackle. He began his career at quarterback before moving to receiver. Matt holds a pair of weightroom records for quarterbacks with a 33 inch vertical jump and a 4.68 clocking in the 40-yard dash.

Prep: Matt was a team captain at Gadsden High while playing for coach Vince DiLorenzo.
Personal: He is the son of Vickie and Noah Miller. Matt comes from a long line of Alabama graduates. His grandfather, Floyd Dean Miller and father, Noah, played football at Alabama. His mother, father, grandmother and grandfather and an aunt, all graduated from Alabama. His older brother, Marc, was also a member of the Tide football team, graduating in 2002. Born 6-25-82. He is a Management major.
