2005 (Senior): The Tide’s starting long snapper, Lane participated in 161 plays during the season including , a high of 12 snaps against Arkansas and Auburn. He also recorded a tackle in Bama’s game against Utah State.
2004 (Junior): Drew performed the all-important task as the Tide's snapper on field goals and extra points. Working in concert with holder Alex Fox, Alabama was a perfect 33 of 33 on extra points and 16 of 19 on field goals.
2002-03 (Junior College): Playing at Hinds Community College in Raymond, Miss., Drew was a MACJC All-District selection

Personal: Drew is the son of Marsha Winningham and Rick Lane and he has a sister Jill, and two brothers, Gregory and Jonathan. Born 6-26-84. He is a Marine Science, Biology major.
