2006 (Freshman): Washington appeared in six games with 29 snaps. He tallied a season-high 11 plays against Florida International. He had five snaps against Mississippi State, four plays at Florida and LSU, three plays at Tennessee and two snaps against Louisiana Monroe.
2005 Redshirted
Prep: After signing with the Tide in 2004, Washington played in the fall at Hargrave Military. As a prep senior, he was one of the most-watched prospects at Grayson High School. He was a first-team Class 3A All-State selection and was listed by Superprep magazine as the 14th best overall player in Georgia and No. 18 at his position by TheInsiders.com. He was a third-team member of Fox Sports Nets “All-South” squad. He finished his senior campaign with 60 tackles, 10 sacks and two forced fumbles.
Personal: Son of Lorenzo D. Washington II and Diana Miller, has two younger sisters, Brittany and Marissa. Has a cousin, Tony Miller who plays baseball in the Colorado Rockies organization. Lorenzo is a speed reader. Born 12-2-86. He is in pre-major studies.
