2006 (Sophomore): Davis started three games on the season against Florida International, LSU and Auburn. He had four games with five or more knockdowns, including a season-high eight against Duke. He led the team with six knockdowns against Auburn and tallied 34 on the season. He played a season-high 65 snaps against Auburn and played over 50 snaps in each of the last four games. He had 64 snaps against LSU. He had 55 snaps against FIU and 54 plays against Mississippi State. He played a total of 349 snaps in 11 games.
2005 (Freshman): Davis saw action in four games, earning his first career start against Southern Miss. He played a season high 47 snaps in Alabama’s first game of the season, a 26-7 win over Middle Tennessee.
Prep: Davis was a Class 4A All-State pick as a senior and started at right guard for the Georgia North-South All-Star game. He graded 92 percent and had 87 pancake blocks as a senior. He was named his team’s most valuable lineman every year of his high school career. As a junior, he had 67 pancake blocks and was named All-Bi City and was his team’s most valuable lineman.
Personal: Son of Carl and Ida Davis. Has an older brother, Brian and an older sister, Erica. His father played football for the University of Wisconsin and his brother played football at the University of Memphis. Born 11-2-86. He is in pre-major studies.
