2006 (Sophomore): Played four snaps against Louisiana Monroe. He suffered a season-ending knee injury in practice following the Arkansas game.
2005 (Freshman): Aaron did not see varsity action.
2004 Redshirted
Prep: A versatile player, McDaniel played quarterback, running back, wide receiver as well as defensive back during his high school career. Aaron rushed for over 1,000 yards in his sophomore year for the Ft. Payne High Wildcats, but was hampered by injury his junior and senior seasons. McDaniel still managed 757 yards and five TDs rushing in his junior campaign. McDaniel, who joined Fort Payne teammate Marcus Carter in signing with the Tide, was listed as the No. 21 overall in-state prospect by SuperPrep magazine. He was a three-sport athlete, earning varsity letters in football, basketball and track.
Personal: Aaron has six brothers, Curtis, Thomas, Josh, Matthew, Mark and Christopher and three sisters, Lisa, Catric and Shantay. Born 11-23-85. He is in pre-major studies.
