Brett Price enters his seventh season with the Alabama baseball program in 2025. He serves as the Crimson Tide’s strength and conditioning coach, bringing his extensive background of training and developing baseball players to the Alabama program.
Price came to Tuscaloosa from Auburn, where he worked from 2016-18. Prior to his time at Auburn, Price worked for Rapid Sports Performance in Woodstock, Ga. He also worked at Cressey Sports Performance in Jupiter, Fla. At both stops, Price was responsible for developing and implementing training programs for baseball players ranging from the high school to the major league level. Price has also worked as a camp instructor with New Balance Area Code baseball camps across the country. His primary responsibilities included testing and instruction of high school baseball student-athletes on the proper ways to train.
He spent two seasons as the strength and conditioning coach for Troy baseball and softball in the Sun Belt Conference from 2014-15.
During his time with the Trojans, he utilized his skills to put training regiments together that were tailored specifically to both sports. Price also spent time as a strength and conditioning intern with Troy athletics in 2013, as well as two seasons as video coordinator with Troy baseball from 2011-13.
A native of Prattville, Ala., Price holds both of his degrees from Troy University. He graduated with his bachelor’s in sport fitness management/ business in 2013 and his master’s in sport and fitness management/exercise science in 2015. He played two seasons of collegiate baseball at Lawson State Community College in Birmingham, Ala., from 2010-11.
Price is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He is married to the former Brooke Spinks of Tifton, Ga. The two were married in November of 2016 and have one son, Riley, and one daughter, Emma.
