Tied his season-best of 23-4 3/4 (7.13m) at the SEC Championships to finish 13th in the long jump…placed 18th in the Tyson Invitational long jump with a leap of 23-4 1/2 (7.12m) … jumped 20-11 3/4 (6.39m) to finish 19th at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invite … placed ninth in the long jump (23-4 3/4 feet/7.13m) at the New Mexico Team Invitational … leaped to a mark of 6.73 at the Vanderbilt Invitational to finish 19th.
Prep and Personal
Won a total of seven state championship titles in three years at Woodbury High School in Woodbury, N.J. ... was one of the nation's top prep long jumpers in 2013 when he had a best of 25 feet, 2 inches, the longest jump in the nation by a high school athlete ... secured the long jump, high jump and 100-meter dash titles at the 2012 NJISAA South Jersey Track and Field Championships as a junior ... won long jump at the 2011 New Jersey Meet of Champions ... ran 6.52 to win the 2011 NJISAA Indoor State Championships 55-meter dash as a sophomore... cleared 6-6 to take home the high jump title at the same meet ... won the 55-meter dash state title in 2012 with a personal-best time of 6.50 ... won the 2012 Eastern States Championships in the long jump with a leap of 23-7 ... was second in the long jump at the 2012 Penn Relays ... chose to forego his the 2013 outdoor season, his senior season to play football for the Crimson Tide ... is a defensive back on Alabama's football team.
