Grace Barbara enters her third year as Assistant Coach for the University of Alabama.
A native of Alexandria, Va., Barbara spent two seasons as Louisville's graduate assistant coach (2016-18).
She started rowing for T.C. Williams where she was team captain for two years. For five consecutive years, Barbara medaled at the Virginia State Championships, winning silver at the Stotesbury Cup and gold at the Scholastic Nationals.
She went on to row for Indiana University for four years and was an instrumental factor for the team as it qualified for the NCAA championships for the first time in program history in 2014, finishing 11th overall.
Upon graduating, Barbara returned to T.C. Williams, coaching the women's 2V to a silver at Stotesbury and a bronze at the Scholastic Nationals in 2016.
