Morgan Lashley enters her first season as Alabama’s volunteer assistant in 2021.

Lashley previously served as a graduate manager for the Crimson Tide during the 2018 and 2019 seasons before heading to Wichita State as its pitching coach in 2020. Prior to her first stint in Tuscaloosa, she was the head coach at Oyster Bay High School in Long Island, N.Y.

Lashley began her playing career at the United States Military Academy (Army), where she was the Patriot League Rookie of the Year and Pitcher of the Year in 2012. She earned NFCA All-Region honors as a sophomore, already the school’s career record holder with 62 wins after just two seasons.

She spent her final two collegiate seasons at Hofstra, leading the Pride to back-to-back NCAA Regional appearances in 2014-15. A two-time NFCA All-Region honoree, she led the team to a 38-14-1 record and CAA Conference title as a senior.

A native of Davidson, N.C., Lashley is engaged to her fiance Anthony Cinello. The couple has a dog, Fenway.
