- Suffered an arm injury that ended his sophomore campaign early
- Played in 13 games (10 starts) and batted .250 (7-28) with a double, two RBI, six runs scored and three walks in the first month of the season
Freshman (2016)
- Began his Alabama baseball career in 2016 after spending the 2014-15 seasons with the football team
- Saw time in 37 games, starting 32 of those contests
- Batted .279 to rank third on the team in average while adding eight RBI, 23 runs scored and 15 walks while stealing four bases in seven attempts
- Recorded a seven-game hitting streak from May 6-19, across which he batted .429 (9-21) with a double, seven runs scored and six walks
- Reached base safely in seven games from Feb. 24-March 6, sporting a .609 on-base percentage over the streak and batted .471 (8-17) with a triple, three RBI, seven runs scored, five walks and three stolen bases

One of the Crimson Tide’s top special teams players through his first three seasons at the Capstone ... totaled 38 tackles as a junior, including a team-high 11 special teams stops ... added three pass breakups, two tackles for loss (-5 yards), one sack (-4 yards), a fumble recovery and one quarterback hurry ... earned CoSIDA Academic All-District recognition for his efforts in the classroom ... selected as one of the UA coaching staff’s special teams players of the week for his performances against Fresno State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, LSU and Auburn and a defensive player of the week honoree following Colorado State. Florida State: Saw significant playing time on defense while remaining a threat on special teams ... made one tackle on the night in Atlanta while also breaking up a pass on defense ... recorded a fumble recovery on kickoff coverage to give the Tide the ball 11 yards out, leading to a Damien Harris rushing score on the next play. A talented athlete who was a stalwart on special teams ... had 24 total tackles, including 12 stops on special teams to lead all Tide players ... also plays for the Crimson Tide baseball team in the spring ... selected as one the UA coaching staff’s special teams players of the week for his performances against Western Kentucky, at Ole Miss, and against Texas A&M, Mississippi State, Chattanooga and Florida, and one of the defensive players of the week after the Kent State contest. USC: Tied for second on the team in tackles with a then career-high five, including one for a loss of a yard ... also broke up one pass from the middle linebacker spot. Western Kentucky: Saw time on defense and special teams ... had one tackle on punt coverage while adding another stop from his linebacker position. Ole Miss: Registered one tackle on special teams, helping stop the Rebel kickoff returner after only 10 yards. Kent State: Finished his afternoon with a career-high six tackles in one half of play to earn defensive player of the week honors from the Crimson Tide coaching staff. Kentucky: Saw time on special teams but did not record any stats. Arkansas: Limited on the field due to an injury and did not record any stats against the Hogs. Tennessee: Recorded three tackles, with two coming on the defensive side of the ball ... added one stop on punt coverage, his team-leading third of the season. Texas A&M: Earned special teams player of the week from the coaching staff after helping to limit the Aggie return game ... did not finish with any tackles. LSU: Saw time on special teams but did not record any stats ... helped a Crimson Tide unit that limited the Tigers to only 16 yards on punt returns and 27 yards on kickoffs. Mississippi State: Made two stops on kickoff coverage against the Bulldogs. Washington: Combined with Keaton Anderson to make a huge stop on kickoff coverage midway through the first quarter. 2015 (Redshirt Freshman)
Collected nine total tackles with six coming on special teams ... also had one blocked punt that resulted in a safety to go with a pass breakup ... earned special teams player of the week recognition from the UA coaching staff for his efforts at Auburn and against Michigan State. Wisconsin: Saw action in his first career collegiate contest but did not record any stats against the Badgers. Middle Tennessee: Collected the first two tackles of his Alabama career, including one assisted and one unassisted stop. Ole Miss: Notched one tackle on special teams against the Rebels. ULM: Saw action on special teams and at linebacker, recording two tackles and his first pass breakup of the year. Georgia: Continued his duties on special teams, but did not make any stops. Arkansas: Brought pressure from the left side to force the Razorback punter into the arms of Shawn Burgess-Becker on a fake punt attempt ... did not record any tackles by night’s end. Texas A&M: Earned time on special teams but did not collect any tackles. Tennessee: Saw time on kickoff and punt coverage, but did not record any stats. LSU: Helped funnel tacklers into the arms of waiting defenders on special teams, but did not record any stats himself. Mississippi State: Notched one tackle on the defensive side of the ball after entering late in the fourth quarter. Charleston Southern: Exited the game early with a knee injury and did not return. Auburn: Recorded one tackle on punt coverage, saving a touchdown with his stop of the Tiger returner. Florida: Blocked a Gator punt in the UF end zone that resulted in a safety to put the Crimson Tide on the board first ... the blocked punt was the third of the season for UA and the second safety by the Tide special teams unit. Michigan State: Made one stop on special teams, limiting the Spartan punt returner to a four-yard return late in the game. Clemson: Recorded one stop on special teams, stopping the Tiger punt returner after a 13-yard return.
