Saw action in 39 games with 24 starts during his junior campaign ... finished with 19 hits, nine RBI and 14 runs scored while walking four times, being hit by a pitch on six instances and stealing three bases ... strung together a six-game hitting streak from March 7-17, batting .348 (8-23) with a double, six RBI, three runs scored, two walks and a stolen base. Maryland Eastern Shore (2/13-15): Appeared in all three contests, entering as a pinch-runner in game one, defensive replacement in game two and a pinch-hitter in game three ... recorded his first hit of the season in the finale, finishing 1-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored. Lipscomb (3/6-8): Made three consecutive starts for the first time in his career ... finished the series 4-for-9 with three RBI, one run scored, one walk and two hit-by-pitch ... put together multi-hit efforts in Saturday and Sunday's games ... his RBI and stolen base in Saturday's contest were career firsts. Mississippi State (3/14-15): Collected three hits, three RBI, two runs, two walks and a stolen base for the weekend in Starkville ... collected a season-high three RBI in the series finale, finishing the day 1-for-3 with a double. Appeared in eight games during his sophomore campaign ... got his first career base hit, a single to right field against Alcorn State (March 19).
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2013)
Named to the 2013 Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll ... saw action in 10 games ... finished the season with two official at-bats, two runs scored and one hit by pitch. Southern Miss (2/19): Made his first appearance for the Crimson Tide as a pinch-runner, scoring the game-winning run. Tennessee (3/17): Took his first career at-bat in the Sunday SEC contest with the Volunteers. Alcorn State (4/10): Was hit by a pitch to reach base for the first time in his Alabama career. Missouri (5/12): Pinch ran for Chance Vincent and scored the initial run of the three-run ninth inning rally to defeat the Tigers.
