         FRESHMAN (2011): EIU: Saw his only action of the series in a pinch-hit        appearance in the seventh inning of game two ... was 0-for-1 with a strikeout.        NWSU: Made his first appearance in a Tide uniform as a pinch hitter in        game three of the weekend ... went 0-for-0 with a walk in his lone at-bat.
        
         FRESHMAN (2010): Waldrep sat out the 2010 season with an        injury...received a medical redshirt.
        
         HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL DATA: A two-sport star at Celina High School,        where he played baseball and football ...a four-year starter for Coach James Evans on the        diamond ... during his senior season, Waldrep hit .428 (42-for-98) with three home runs and        33 RBI ... he also compiled a .601 slugging percentage and .649 on-base mark ... recorded        11 multi-hit games, including one four hit game and three, three-hit games ... was the        starting catcher for the North squad in the 2009 Texas North-South All-Star Game ... he        played on three district championship teams (2006, 2007 and 2009) during his prep career        ...he was named All-District catcher (District 9 3A) in 2007, 2008 and 2009 ... he was a        Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association Second-Team All-State performer in 2007 and        Third-Team pick in 2009 ... on the gridiron, Waldrep ran for 4,307 yards and 79 touchdowns        in his three-year career for Coach Butch Ford ... he finished with 482 career points ...he        was a two-time Texas All-State running back and three-time all-district performer ...played        in four Texas High School State Championship Games, winning the state title in 2005 (2A        Division II) and 2007 (3A Division II) ... was the leading rusher and scorer for District 9        3A in 2006 and 2007 ... full name is Charley Waldrep ... parents are Kent and Lynn Waldrep        ... has one older brother, Trey ...
