Know Before You Go: NCAA Tuscaloosa Super Regional

The Crimson Tide is set to host the NCAA Tuscaloosa Super Regional beginning June 6
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – No. 7 national seed Alabama Baseball will host the NCAA Tuscaloosa Super Regional beginning Saturday, June 6, at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. The following information will assist attending fans with key information regarding rules, regulations and logistics during the second weekend of NCAA Tournament action:
Gate Entry
Gates will open 90 minutes prior to first pitch each day.
Parking
Fans are encouraged to utilize complimentary parking in the Coleman Coliseum lot, 2nd Ave. lot, Capstone Deck or 4th Avenue Soccer Lot. ADA accessible parking will be available west of Coliseum Drive in the Paul W. Bryant Drive Lot. A shuttle service will begin running 90 minutes prior to first pitch from the 4th Avenue Soccer Lot.
General Admission/Standing Room Sections
General admission standing room tickets provide fans access to a variety of spaces inside Sewell-Thomas Stadium, including the expanded Right Field Terrace, Rally Point third base patio and in the grass berm on the first base concourse. There will also be a variety of smaller areas throughout the concourse marked off for ticket holders.
Student Tickets
Alabama head coach Rob Vaughn has purchased the first 500 student tickets for each Super Regional contest played at The Joe, as students will only need to show their ACT Card upon entrance to receive a general admission ticket. After the initial 500-ticket allotment is expended, students will need to visit the box office at Sewell-Thomas Stadium to purchase tickets, if inventory is available.
Ticket Customer Service
Fans needing assistance with ticketing can visit stands staffed at Gate 1 as well as Gates 8/9. Attendees are highly encouraged to download mobile tickets to their phone's wallet in advance.
Right Field Terrace
The Right Field Terrace at Sewell-Thomas Stadium is open to all fans during the entirety of the NCAA Tuscaloosa Super Regional. The space has been expanded to allow fans to set up behind the visitor bullpen down to the open fence next to the batter's eye.
Those wishing to enter the Right Field Terrace with a cooler and/or dog must enter through Gate 6, located directly behind right field. Fans will be expected to follow the same rules as students during their time in the Terrace. A list of the Right Field Terrace rules can be found here.
Please note that once the Right Field Terrace reaches capacity, fans will no longer be able to enter with items prohibited in other areas of the stadium including chairs and coolers. A prohibited items enclosure will be set up next to Gate 6 for those not wishing to walk back to vehicles.
Restrooms
In addition to the concourse restrooms, an additional restroom trailer will be located behind the batter's eye for those in the Right Field Terrace.
Water/Cooling Station
Cooling stations and water monsters will be located behind Section DD on the first base concourse and Section Q on the third base concourse.
Discounted Concessions
Concession stands will be offering discounted pricing on a number of items such as domestic beer, soda, water, hot dogs and popcorn.
Merchandise
NCAA Super Regional merchandise will be on sale at the team store located inside Gate 1 of Sewell-Thomas Stadium. Items include shirts, hats, commemorative pins and baseballs.
