
Alabama’s Fox, Lestelle Named Brad Davis Community Service Award

Crimson Tide football player Peyton Fox and rower Olivia Lestelle bare among the 32 (16 men and 16 women) who received the recognition for outstanding work in the community
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alabama football player Peyton Fox and rower Olivia Lestelle have been named 2025-26 Brad Davis Community Service Award Winners, the league office announced Thursday.
The Crimson Tide student-athletes are two of 32 honorees (16 males and 16 females) who are finalists for the Male and Female Brad Davis Community Service Leaders of the Year and will receive a $7,500 postgraduate scholarship provided by the SEC.
The SEC Community Service Post-Graduate Scholarship is named for former Associate Commissioner Brad Davis. Davis succumbed to cancer on March 2, 2006. He had been a member of the SEC staff since 1988, first serving as an assistant commissioner until 1994 when he was promoted to associate commissioner.
PEYTON FOX, FOOTBALL
- A consistent contributor to the Tuscaloosa Community, participating in numerous volunteer opportunities across his four-plus years at UA
- Spent a significant amount of time in local schools, including Skyland Elementary, University Place Elementary and Woodland Forrest Elementary
- Also volunteered at the West Alabama Food Bank, Tuscaloosa One Place and the Tuscaloosa Detention Center
- Participated in Read Across America, an annual reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child to celebrate reading
- Was a part of the Fight Against Suicide Campaign to redefine mental health awareness and suicide prevention on college campuses
- A member of the Tide Leadership Academy
- Serves as a SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) representative for the football team
- Currently works as intern in the Athletics Director's office
- Graduated last winter, as he took only three-and-a-half years to earn his undergrad degree in sports management
- Began work towards his masters in sports management this past January
- Earned President's List honors twice (Spring 2024 and Spring 2025) while making the Dean's List on three occasions (Fall 2023, Fall 2024, Fall 2025)
- A three-time SEC Academic Honor Roll recipient (2023-2025)
- A four-year member of the Crimson Tide football team who enters his final season in 2026
- Played in four career games, including two apiece in 2024 and 2025
- Valuable piece of Alabama's weekly efforts, Fox has been named a scout team player of the week three times from 2024-25
OLIVIA LESTELLE, ROWING
- Always making an impact in the Tuscaloosa Community, Lestelle has participated in numerous volunteer opportunities across her three years at UA
- Served as a volunteer intern at the DCH Regional Medical Center
- Volunteered in the Church of the Highlands Kids Ministry
- Worked with Habitat for Humanity, helping build and paint homes, support families and contribute to community projects, creating a positive impact for all
- Volunteered with Lights On Afterschool by helping set up a holiday event and guiding children through art projects, creating a fun and supportive environment that encouraged creativity and engagement
- Assisted with Al's Pals at the elementary school, assisting students with homework and helping lead classroom activities to support learning and engagement
- Founder and President of The Healing Playbook, a club that organizes monthly events for student-athletes across all teams to create themed cards for patients at a local hospital
- Volunteered at Halloween Extravaganza, organizing sport-themed games and distributing candy to community children
- Graduates this week with an undergraduate degree in public health
- Made Dean's List in Fall 2025 and Spring 2025
- A four year member of the SEC and Big 12 Aacedmic Honor Rolls
- Named to the SEC Rowing Community Service Team in 2025
- Competed in four regattas this Spring
- Finished in first place at the Cardinal Invite at the Cardinal Invite
- Collected a pair of 2nd finishes at the Rocky Top Invite and the Ohio State Regatta in the 3v8+ boat
- A three-year member of the Crimson Tide rowing team
