Despite picking up one doubles victory, the Crimson Tide would suffer a 4-0 loss in Gainesville, Fla.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The Alabama women's tennis team (12-6, 4-6 SEC) fell to No. 15 Florida (12-4, 7-3 SEC) in a 4-0 decision on Thursday at the Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex.
Match Notes
- The Crimson Tide's No. 2 doubles pairing of Klara Milicevic and Karla Bartel recorded the team's only win after downing the Gator's Brooke Black and Valery Gynina, 6-4
- Florida would go on to claim the doubles point following a 7-5 victory at the No. 3 spot
- In singles, Bartel forced a third set on court four (0-6, 7-5, 1-2)
- Three matches (courts one, two and four) would remain unfinished at the time the Gators clinched the overall match win
