Upchurch Named Perfect Game USA Co-Freshman of the Week

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama baseball's Myles Upchurch was named Perfect Game USA's Co-Freshman of the Week, the organization announced Tuesday.
Upchurch was honored by Perfect Game following his dominant outing against North Florida on March 8. The freshman struck out a career-best 11 hitters across a career-high 6.0 innings on Sunday, helping Alabama to a series sweep of the Ospreys. Upchurch's 11 strikeouts were tied for the most by a Crimson Tide hurler so far this season.
