TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men's tennis team (2-3) fell, 6-1, to Northwestern (4-2) on Friday.
The Crimson Tide was led by Andrii Zimnokh, who posted wins in both singles and doubles action to go undefeated in the match.
Match Notes
- Andrii Zimnokh won his third match at the No. 1 spot, moving to a 3-1 record to start the season
- Zimnokh and Yoshka Sborowsky captured their first doubles win as a pair, dropping just two games to their Wildcat foes on court three
- Three of the six singles matches saw a first-set tiebreak
