Head Coach Nate Oats Postgame CommentsÂ
"Big win for us, I'm proud of the guys. We talked about trying to focus on defense, getting stops and scoring off of them, and I thought we did a great job of that tonight. Trelly (Latrell Wrightsell Jr.) really came up big in that regard and when you lose yourself in the game like he did, the game comes to you. He ends up getting a career-high in threes made and I couldn't be happier for him. He is a great leader trying to get the team focused on getting stops and playing in the flow. All of his three's came off the flow and not any off sets we ran to get him open.
"Houston (Mallette) seemed happier for Trelly's seven threes than Trelly seemed himself. When we talk about 'Mudita' he had that at a really high level tonight. And then Houston made a late three which is great for him because he works so hard, he ended up winning the hard hat.Â
"I thought the ball moved well, the first time since the Maryland game we had multiple guys with five or more assists. Great to have Holloway back, creating some offense for us and taking pressure off Labaron."
