Congratulations to Mark Ingram II on 2026 NFF College Football Hall of Fame Induction Class
In case you missed it, former Alabama great Mark Ingram II was selected as a part of the 2026 National Football Foundation (NFF) Hall of Fame class. Mark expressed his gratitude once he found the news out and we couldn't be more excited for this deserving honor. With this recognition, Mark becomes the 28th former Crimson Tide player or coach to be enshrined in the College Football Hall of Fame. The 2026 class will be officially inducted during the 68th NFF Annual Awards Dinner on December 8, 2026 in Las Vegas with their accomplishments immortalized at the Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta. Congratulations, Mark!

Cheerleading National Champions
It was a terrific weekend for the Crimson Tide cheer squad that competed at the Universal Cheerleading Association (UCA) and United Dance Association (UDA) College Nationals. Alabama claimed its eighth title in program history, winning the 2026 UCA Division IA All-Girl Championship! The Alabama dance team was impressive, taking third place in the Game Day competition and earning a top-10 finish in DIA Jazz! Alabama cheer's coed team claimed fourth place with a great routine and Big Al's safari adventure skit took seventh in the mascot division. Great job to our team and staff!
Bye Week for Men's and Women's Hoops
Our men's and women's teams are enjoying some well-deserved rest with both on a midweek bye before returning to action at home this weekend. The 17th-ranked men's squad will start the action when it hosts the Tennessee Volunteers for a 7:30 p.m. CT tipoff on Saturday night. It will be a WHITE OUT in Coleman Coliseum so be sure to wear white. We're also giving away 10,000 shirts courtesy of CB&S Bank!
On Sunday, our No. 23 women's team will play host to Mississippi State for a 2 p.m. CT tip for what will be a big showdown on Big Al's Kids Club Day. We hope you come out and enjoy the fun!
Gymnastics Hosts Back-to-Back Home Meets
After opening the year with consecutive road meets, our gymnastics teams returns to Coleman Coliseum where we will host two straight home contests across the next two weeks. The 2026 home opener takes place this Friday as the third-ranked Crimson Tide hosts No. 7 Missouri at 6:30 p.m. CT. Following that contest, our ladies will step outside of the conference to host Oregon State on Friday, Jan. 30, at 6:30 p.m. CT.
Swimming and Diving Back in Action This Week
Our men's and women's swimming and diving teams will have a pair of SEC meets in the coming weeks. It all starts tomorrow afternoon with a dual meet at Texas A&M at 1 p.m. CT. Following that contest, the Crimson Tide will return to Tuscaloosa and host in-state rival Auburn on Jan. 30 at 3 p.m. CT. A reminder that admission is free to all fans at the Alabama Aquatics Center.
Tennis Teams Back in Action
It's ITA Kickoff Weekend for our men's tennis team, as head coach George Husack and his squad head to Starkville, Miss., for the two-day tournament. The Crimson Tide will open the event against Auburn at 10 a.m. CT on Saturday morning with the winner advancing to Sunday's championship match. The winner of the tournament will receive an automatic berth into ITA Indoor Nationals, which will take place Feb. 13-17 in Dallas/Waco, Texas. Following ITA Kickoff Weekend, the men's team will close the month with a home contest against Northwestern on Jan. 30 at 6 p.m. CT.
Head coach Jonatan Berhane and our women's tennis team will play one dual meet on Saturday, Jan. 24, at 10 a.m. CT when they host the Georgia State Panthers. Admission is free to the match, which will be held in the Robert Alison Baumgardner Indoor Tennis Facility.
Indoor Track and Field Season Continues
Our indoor track and field teams are ready to return to action tonight and tomorrow when they compete at the Orange and Purple Invitational, held in Clemson, S.C. From there, the team will compete at the PNC Lenny Lyles Invite, Jan. 30-31 in Louisville, Ky.
Season Tickets on Sale for Diamond Sports
Season tickets are currently on sale for both baseball and softball through the Alabama Ticket Office. Head coach Rob Vaughn and our baseball squad will play its opening series at home Feb. 13-15 against Washington State. Meanwhile, head coach Patrick Murphy and our softball team begin their 2026 season on the road at the Buzz Classic in Atlanta, Feb. 5-7. The team's first home weekend will be Feb. 13-15, hosting Georgia Southern, Liberty and Purdue in the Easton Bama Bash.
