Get to Know: Assistant Coach Tennille Adams
It's the end of practice, what are you sharing during GLG time?
Love that I can be around this group every day, and grateful that they allow me to be a part of their journey.
What's one moment in your coaching career that's stayed with you – and why?
Being a part of two conference championships in the Horizon League. It's stayed with me because I was able to form some unbreakable bonds – bonds that are built when you are in the trenches. The Horizon League is a one bid league where winners take all. Therefore, we had to play very well against some very talented teams to get a bid to the NCAA Tournament. I will never forget it.
What is your go-to coffee order before practice/on gameday?
A café au lait!
When looking to add a player to the program, what qualities and attributes are you looking for?
We are looking for culture players that are intrinsically driven. Players that are bought in to our team motto - Grit, Love, and Gratitude.
