Men’s Basketball Faces Florida State in Ballin in Boutwell Exhibition Game

The Crimson Tide travels to Birmingham, Ala. for an exhibition contest against the Seminoles
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – For the second straight season, the Alabama men's basketball team will play in an exhibition game at the Boutwell Auditorium in Birmingham, Ala. as the Crimson Tide will face Florida State in the Ballin In Boutwell exhibition game. The game is set for 7 p.m. CT on Thursday, Oct. 16.

The Matchup
- Florida State finished last season with a 17-15 record and an 8-12 record in the ACC
- Head coach Luke Loucks enters his first season as head coach for Florida State
- Alabama is 8-8 all-time against Florida State and last met in the 2009 Old Spice Classic in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. (Florida State won 60-51)
- The Tide's roster returns five letterwinners from last year's Elite Eight team led by SEC All-Freshman Team honoree Labaron Philon
