Damien Nezar Set to Compete at 2025 World University Games

- Alabama's Damien Nezar will make his debut at the World University Games, representing South Africa at the 10-day long tournamentÂ
- The opening round of singles play is set to begin on Thursday, July 17, in Essen, Germany, while doubles action is set to start on Friday, July 18
- AÂ doubles champion will be crowned Friday, July 25, while the singles championships will close the tournament on Saturday, July 26Â
- In his first season with the Tide, the Eden, South African, native finished with a No. 14 national ranking in doubles action thanks to a 21-win seasonÂ
