Damien Nezar Set to Compete at 2025 World University Games

Alabama's Damien Nezar will make his debut at the World University Games, representing South Africa at the 10-day long tournament
The opening round of singles play is set to begin on Thursday, July 17, in Essen, Germany, while doubles action is set to start on Friday, July 18
A doubles champion will be crowned Friday, July 25, while the singles championships will close the tournament on Saturday, July 26
In his first season with the Tide, the Eden, South African, native finished with a No. 14 national ranking in doubles action thanks to a 21-win season
Additionally he captured 14 singles wins for the Tide, including the deciding point in Alabama's win over Auburn
