The Crimson Tide took a 4-0 win over the Governors, but dropped a 4-0 decision to the Commodores
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Alabama men's tennis team (12-15, 3-10 SEC) captured a 4-0 win over Austin Peay State University (4-12) before dropping a 4-0 result to Vanderbilt (16-11, 5-9 SEC) on Friday.
Alabama saw doubles wins against the Governors from Carlos Gimenez Perez and Brendan Loh as well as Matic Kriznik and Yoshka Sborowsky. Additionally, Andrii Zimnokh, Rohan Hazratwala and Loh secured singles victories to help UA record the overall win.
Hazratwala and Kriznik paced the Tide against the Commodores with a doubles win as Gimenez Perez was up a set in singles when the match was decided.

- The Tide captured all three singles matches against Austin Peay in two sets
- Additionally, UA had won the opening set and was either leading or tied in the second set against the Governors on the remaining courts
- Hazratwala and Kriznik won their first match as a doubles pairing, taking a win against Vanderbilt
