OKLAHOMA CITY – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced its 2025 Division I All-America teams Wednesday in Oklahoma City prior to the start of the Women's College World Series, with Alabama freshman outfielder Audrey Vandagriff earning a spot on the NFCA Second Team All-America list.
"We are so proud of Audrey and her accomplishments in her first year at Alabama," UA head coach Patrick Murphy said. "She put up great numbers on the field but also had a 4.0 in the classroom as well. She's humble, hard-working and a great teammate. The best is yet to come for her."
This year's award is the 64th in Alabama program history, with Vandagriff as the first Crimson Tide freshman to earn All-America honors since Montana Fouts in 2019. Alabama has had at least one All-American every season since 1998.
A top three finalist for NFCA Freshman of the Year, the Bogart, Ga., native stole 50 bases this season, the second-highest total in the NCAA and a new Alabama freshman record that ranks fourth in UA single-season history. Vandagriff also led the team with a .392 batting average, 69 hits, 51 runs scored, eight doubles and 37 walks.
