Gymnastics Advances to NCAA Championships
After posting a season-best 197.675 on Sunday at the Tuscaloosa Regional, our gymnastics team solidified its trip to Fort Worth for the NCAA Championship meet! We are slated to compete in the first semifinal session on April 17 at 3:30 p.m. CT inside Dickies Arena. This will be the program's 40th appearance in the championships and second straight trip.
Golden Flake A-Day set for Saturday
Football's annual Golden Flake A-Day will take place Saturday on Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium beginning at 12 p.m. CT. There are still several event upgrades available for purchase including parking passes, locker room tours, club access and more. In addition, Yea Alabama members can go on the field following A-Day for autographs. If you're not a member, you can sign up today at Yea-Alabama.com/join.
Baseball Hosts Mississippi State in Weekend Series
Our baseball team continues its homestand this weekend, hosting Mississippi State at Sewell-Thomas Stadium for a three-game series. Friday's opener is set for 6 p.m. CT, while Saturday's game will start at 2 p.m. CT and Sunday's finale at 1 p.m. CT. Tickets for all three games are still available through the Alabama Ticket Office as well as at Gate 3 for walkups.
Softball Welcomes Oklahoma for Three-Game Series Beginning Saturday
Softball returns home this weekend for a trio of nationally-televised games against the Oklahoma Sooners, beginning Saturday at 3 p.m. CT. Sunday's game is scheduled for a 5 p.m. CT first pitch and Monday's contest is looking at a 6 p.m. CT start. Tickets for Saturday's game are sold out through the Alabama Ticket Office but can be found on SeatGeek. A limited number of general admission tickets remain for Sunday and Monday's games.
Track and Field to Hold Crimson Tide Invitational Friday and Saturday
We have two full days of track and field action set to take place at the Sam Bailey Track and Field Stadium this weekend as we host the Crimson Tide Invitational. Friday's field events are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. CT while the 5,000m is set for a 9 p.m. CT start. On Saturday, we will have field events beginning at 10:30 a.m. CT, senior recognition at 1:05 p.m. CT and track events to follow at 1:25 p.m. CT.
Tennis Wraps up Regular Season
Our tennis teams will finish out the regular season this weekend with the men on the road Friday at LSU before hosting Mississippi State on Sunday for Senior Day. The women will close it out with a pair of road matches, first at Arkansas on Friday before taking on Oklahoma in Norman on Sunday. SEC Championships are being held next week at South Carolina for the men and Auburn for the women, both running April 16-20.
Men's Golf Closes out Regular Season at Mossy Oak Collegiate
Our men's golf team is nearing the finish of the regular season with the Mossy Oak Collegiate on deck April 14-15 in West Point, Miss. Following the two-day tournament, the Tide travels to Sea Island, Ga. for the 2025 SEC Championships, which are slated to take place April 23-27 at the Sea Island Golf Club.
Women's Golf Readies for SEC Championships
Women's golf recently wrapped up its regular season, finishing fourth at the Liz Murphey Intercollegiate in Athens, Ga. The team now heads on to Belleair, Fla. for the 2025 SEC Championships, hosted at the Pelican Golf Club April 13-18.
Morrison and Foster Nominated for McWhorter Award
Congratulations to cross country's Keaton Morrison and men's tennis' Zach Foster for being selected as our nominees for the 2025 H. Boyd McWhorter Scholar-Athlete Post-Graduate Scholarship. Both Keaton and Zach are extremely deserving of this recognition and have done an incredible job both in the classroom and in competition throughout their time in the crimson and white.
Save the Date for Bama Blitz
Save the date! Bama Blitz, the eighth-annual University-wide giving event is coming up April 15-17. Athletics will be raising support for the Crimson Tide Scholarship Fund (CTSF). The CTSF is the annual scholarship fund for Alabama Athletics, which provides critical scholarship support for our student-athletes. University Spotlight
Students in apparel design are about to showcase their creative skills in the game day space as part of a unique opportunity during their upcoming Fashion Playbook Spring Fashion Show. The winners will get to attend New York Fashion Week through the CLC Fashion Week Program, and in collaboration with our Trademark and Licensing Office, will work to have designs produced with a local retailer for purchase.
