
Alabama Set to Compete in Semifinal Session One of the NCAA Gymnastics Championships

The NCAA announced the rotation and session orders for each semifinal session, with the Crimson Tide slated in Semifinal I on April 17 at 3:30 p.m. CT
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama gymnastics team is set to make its second consecutive, and 40th overall, appearance at the NCAA Gymnastics Championships. The Crimson Tide will be the only team not ranked in the top eight competing during the semifinals – an eight-team field featuring five programs from the Southeastern Conference.
Hosted by Knight Eady and Texas Woman's University, the championships will be held at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. The two semifinals will take place Thursday, April 17. Semifinal I includes Alabama, Florida, Missouri and Oklahoma, and will start at 3:30 p.m. CT. Session II, featuring LSU, Michigan State, UCLA and Utah, will begin at 8 p.m., with both semifinals airing live on ESPN2. The top-two teams from each semifinal will advance to the final day for a chance at winning the national title.
