NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The No. 17 Alabama women's tennis team dropped its Sunday afternoon match to No. 19 Vanderbilt, 5-2. The result marked the first SEC loss for Crimson Tide of the season, moving to 8-3 overall and 2-1 in league play.

Vanderbilt (10-1, 3-0 SEC) secured the doubles point after claiming victories on courts one and two
Both of Alabama's points came during singles play after winning on courts four and five
Klara Milicevic downed Sonya Macavei in straight-sets, 6-3, 6-2, to give the Tide its first point
The final point for UA came from Sara Nayar after defeating Trinetra Vijayakumar in two sets, 7-5, 6-2
