Alabama’s senior duo recognized as two of the top players in the Southeast District
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama men's basketball duo of Grant Nelson and Mark Sears were named NABC All-District selections for the Southeast District, the NABC announced on Tuesday. Sears was tabbed as a First Team All-District selection for the second straight season while Nelson earned Second Team honors.Â

- Named an All-District selection for the third time in his career
- A Naismith Player of the Year semifinalistÂ
- The only player in the SEC to rank in the top-three in scoring (No. 3, 18.7 ppg) and second in assists (4.9 apg)
