Brooklyn O’Day closed the competition with a finals appearance on the women’s platform
AUBURN, Ala. – Alabama's Brooklyn O'Day closed the NCAA Zone B Diving Championships for the Crimson Tide on Wednesday with a finals appearance on the platform.
O'Day tallied a 425.80 after 10 rounds of competition for 14th place. She secured her spot in the finals after recording a 226.50 in the prelims to place 16th.
O'Day was one of seven UA divers competing at the four-day meet. Nigel Chambers highlighted the event, advancing to the NCAA Championships on the platform with a fourth-place finish and a score of 749.50.
The Crimson Tide will ready for the NCAA Championships in Federal Way, Wash. The women's national meet will be held March 19-22, with the men's national meet running March 26-29.
