Alabama’s Lebron, Adams, Hodo Named All-SEC in League’s Preseason Baseball Poll

Lebron earned first-team honors with Adams and Hodo picking up second-team recognition
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alabama baseball had a trio of players named to the Preseason All-SEC Team, the league office announced Wednesday.
Justin Lebron was selected to the league's first team, while Zane Adams and Will Hodo both received second-team distinction by the conference's head coaches. The coaches also voted on the league's projected order of finish, as the Crimson Tide was picked to finish 13th among the 16 teams.
Justin Lebron
Preseason All-SEC First Team
- Started all 57 games during his first season in Tuscaloosa, including 56 at shortstop
- Batted .338 (73-216) with nine doubles and 12 home runs as a freshman in 2024
- Contributed 37 RBI, 50 runs scored, 20 walks, 16 hit-by pitch and seven steals in as many attempts
- Garnered First Team All-SEC accolades following his debut campaign
- Also managed Freshman All-SEC and SEC All-Defensive Team honors in 2024
- Added three Freshman All-America honors from D1Baseball.com, the NCBWA and Perfect Game USA
Zane Adams
Preseason All-SEC Second Team
- Made 16 appearances for the Crimson Tide in 2024, including 13 starts
- Compiled a 4-5 record with a 5.37 ERA (35 ER/58.2 IP) as a freshman
- Notched 47 strikeouts to just 27 walks while limiting opposing hitters to a .266 average
- Selected to the Freshman All-SEC Team by the conference coaches to punctuate his freshman season
Will Hodo
Preseason All-SEC Second Team
- Started 55 of 56 games as the Crimson Tide's first baseman in 2024
- Maintained a .263 (52-198) average with 12 doubles and 11 home runs
- Led Alabama with 34 walks to go with 38 RBI, 49 runs, two stolen bases and 10 hit-by-pitch
