Alabama Baseball’s Will Hodo Named Co-SEC Player of the Week

The weekly league honor is the first of Hodo’s career
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alabama baseball's Will Hodo was selected as the Southeastern Conference Co-Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon. The distinction is the first weekly honor of Hodo's career and the first for Alabama this season.

- Helped Alabama to a perfect 5-0 mark during the week, highlighted by a 4-0 win over then-No. 12 NC State
- Managed a .389 (7-18) average in his five starts, including two doubles, two home runs, six RBI, 10 runs scored, three walks and three hit-by-pitch
- The first baseman reached base safely in all five starts, playing a key role in the Tide scoring 10-plus runs in three of its five contests
- Hodo punctuated his week with a walkoff, three-run home run in Alabama's 12-10 win over Ohio State as UA rallied from a 10-0 deficit in the win, marking the largest comeback victory in program history
