
Alabama Volleyball Adds Xavier Graduate Transfer Sarah Stevens

The veteran middle blocker led the team with 83 blocks last season
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Following a three-year stint at Xavier, graduate transfer middle blocker Sarah Stevens will continue her volleyball career with the Crimson Tide in 2025.
The 6-foot-4 blocker appeared in 206 sets across the last three seasons with the Musketeers and tallied 151 blocks during that span. Stevens tallied 141 kills with the team last season, ranking fourth on the roster, along with a team-leading 83 blocks, averaging 0.81 per set.
In 2023, the Tampa, Fla., native started in 27 matches, totaling 184 kills, 68 blocks and 225 points. Stevens had the ninth-highest hitting percentage in the BIG EAST with .318 and led the team with 14 solo blocks. Following the conclusion of her redshirt junior season, Stevens earned All-BIG EAST Academic Team honors.
Stevens is the fourth transfer of the 2025 class, joining Trinity Stanger (Pepperdine), Lily Gervase (Virginia) and Maddie Snider (Florida State).
