COLUMBIA, Mo. –– The Alabama soccer team (9-4-1, 3-3-0 SEC) captured a trio of goals to secure a 3-0 victory over Missouri (4-8-1, 1-5-0 SEC) on Sunday.
Alabama saw a fast start, scoring two goals in the opening seven minutes of the game from Larkin Thomason (4:54) and Cameron Silva (6:03). Additionally, Thomason and Melina Rebimbas would force an own goal by the Tigers in the 87th minute.
From Head Coach Wes Hart
"Great way to bounce back after a couple of tough losses. Really happy with how we started the game. We came out flying and built an early lead. I felt we did a good job of continuing to be the aggressor and not just trying to sit on the lead and hang on."
