
Meet Guide: SEC Cross Country Championships

The Crimson Tide returns to action Friday morning for the conference meet, taking place in Knoxville, Tenn.
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The No. 8/25 Alabama men's and women's cross country squads will head to Knoxville, Tenn., Friday for the SEC Championships. Competing on the Cherokee Farm Cross Country Course and aired live on SEC Network, the men's 8k race will start at 9:08 a.m. CT, with the women's 6k race beginning at 9:53 a.m.
Entering the weekend, the UA men are ranked No. 8 in the nation and No. 1 in the South Region, according to the United States Track and Field & Cross Country Coaches Association's (USTFCCCA) rankings. On the women's side, Alabama sits at No. 25 nationally and No. 3 in the South Region.
