
Volleyball Sweeps LSU for First Time Since 2015, Earning its First SEC Win of the Season

The Crimson Tide breaks a seven-match losing streak to the Tigers in the all-time series
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama volleyball earned its first SEC win of the season in convincing fashion, sweeping LSU Friday evening in Foster Auditorium for its first win over the Tigers since 2020 and its first sweep in the series since 2015.
Alabama (9-6, 1-4 SEC) broke a seven-match losing streak to LSU (9-7, 2-3 SEC), earning its first win in the series since Nov. 15, 2020 and its first sweep over the Tigers since Nov. 27, 2015. Senior Trinity Stanger added her own personal milestone to the historic night, earning her 1,000th career dig, having entered the match just three shy of the mark.
