Coach Saban Named to 2025 NFF College Football Hall of Fame Class
In case you missed it, Coach Saban was surprised on the ESPN College GameDay broadcast before the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Cotton Bowl last week with the news that he was being inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. He was the first of the 2025 class announced with the rest of the inductees being made public on Wednesday. The 2025 class will be officially inducted during the 67th NFF Annual Awards Dinner on December 9, 2025 in Las Vegas and their accomplishments immortalized at the Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta. Congratulations, Coach!

Fall Academic Success
It feels like each semester our student-athletes continue to raise the bar academically, which is something we love to see. The fall 2024 combined GPA of 3.494 was our highest overall GPA on record. Additionally, we had 10 teams post their highest respective term GPAs. Incredible job by our young men and women, as well as our academic staff that supports our student-athletes.
University Spotlight
On Wednesday, Dr. Bell announced he would be stepping down from his role as university president in July. I could not have asked for a better president than Dr. Bell to work with over the last eight years at Alabama. He is an incredible leader and cares deeply about this university and its athletics programs. We are grateful for the impact he's made throughout his tenure and are thankful for the support he and Mrs. Bell have shown to our teams over the years.
