Foster Concludes Singles Action at ITA All-American Championships

Andrii Zimnokh will compete in the Qualifying Round of 64 Monday with the match scheduled to begin at noon CT
TULSA, Okla. –– Alabama's Zach Foster concluded his singles run at the ITA All-American Championships on Sunday after retiring in the Pre-Qualifying Round of 32.
Earlier in the day, Foster secured his second win in the singles bracket, battling back after a first-set loss. He topped Mans Dahlberg from Virginia 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 in the come-from-behind win.
The UA senior would then face Baylor's Marko Miladinovic in the Round of 32. Foster again dropped the opening set 6-3, before taking the second set at 6-4. He would retire in the third set, trailing 4-1.
Andrii Zimnkoh opens competition Monday in the Qualifying Round of 64. His singles matchup against Tulsa's Luis Felipe Miguel is set to begin at noon CT.
The ITA All-American Championships will serve as a qualifying tournament for the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships. Ten singles players (eight main draw quarterfinalists and two feed-in consolation finalists) and four doubles teams (four main draw semifinalists) will advance to the national tournament.
