Zimnokh Advances to Qualifying Round of 32 at ITA All-American Championships

Andrii Zimnokh will play Jaden Weekes (Kentucky) in the Qualifying Round of 32 Tuesday
TULSA, Okla. –– Alabama's Andrii Zimonkh took a commanding victory in his opening match at the ITA All-American Championships, securing him a spot in the Qualifying Round of 32.
Zimnokh faced Luis Felipe Miguel in the Qualifying Round of 64 on Monday, defeating the Tulsa junior in two sets. Zimnokh dropped just two games in the match as he took the first set 6-2 before sweeping the last set 6-0.
With the win, Zimnokh advanced to the Qualifying Round of 32 where he will face Kentucky's Jaden Weekes.
The ITA All-American Championships will serve as a qualifying tournament for the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships. Ten singles players (eight main draw quarterfinalists and two feed-in consolation finalists) and four doubles teams (four main draw semifinalists) will advance to the national tournament.
