Milroe Selected as SEC Offensive Player of the Week

The Tide quarterback accounted for five touchdowns in a dominant win at Wisconsin
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alabama's Jalen Milroe was named the Southeastern Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday morning.
Milroe earned the recognition after his standout effort in Madison against Wisconsin on Saturday. The honor is the first this season for the redshirt junior and the fourth of his career after being named SEC Offensive Player of the Week three times a season ago. The league honor is also the fourth for the Crimson Tide this season.
Offensive Player of the Week
- Led the Crimson Tide to an impressive 42-10 road victory over Wisconsin
- Accounted for five total touchdowns, including three passing and two rushing
- Finished 12-of-17 for 196 yards and the three scores through the air
- Hit on passes of 31, 26 and 37 yards for his three touchdowns
- Added 75 yards and two scores across 14 carries with his legs
- Scored from 3 and 10 yards away while also contributing three first downs rushing
