
Padelski Attends Final U17 U.S. Women’s National Team Training Camp before World Cup

The week-long camp will serve as the last training session before the U17 U.S. National Team is announced for the 2024 U17 World Cup
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama's Madeline Padelski will battle in Chula Vista, Calif., beginning Aug. 18 for her spot on the U.S. U17 Women's Youth National Team. The training camp, running Aug. 18-23 will be the last training session before the team announces the roster for the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in the Dominican Republic.
A freshman with the Crimson Tide, Padelski is one of just 26 athletes and one of just two collegiate players to receive a call back for the U17 team.

- Earned her first collegiate start in the Alabama's season opener against TCU
- Averaging two shots a game through the first week of the 2024 season
- Was the U-16 Mondail Montague winner
- Competed in two scrimmages against Japan as a member of the United States Youth Training Camp, scoring a goal and tallying an assist
- Named an ECNL All-American as well as the ECNL Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year
- Two-time First Team All-Conference for Ohio Valley while playing with the Tennessee Soccer Club
- Named a high school two-time all-state honoree as well as an all-region recipient with Nolensville High School
