The freshman All-America accolades were Lebron’s third of the 2024 campaign
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama shortstop Justin Lebron was tabbed to D1Baseball.com's Freshman All-America First Team, the website announced Friday.
The freshman All-America honors are Lebron's third in recognition of his 2024 efforts. He was also selected as a first-teamer on both the NCBWA and Perfect Game freshman teams. In addition to his All-America honors, Lebron also earned a spot on the ABCA/Rawlings All-Southeast Region First Team along with First Team All-SEC, Freshman All-SEC and SEC All-Defensive Team accolades from the conference.

Shortstop
- A standout for the Tide in his first season on campus, starting all 57 games, including 56 at shortstop
- Picked up his third freshman All-America first team honors (NCBWA, Perfect Game)
- Named First Team All-SEC, Freshman All-SEC and to the SEC All-Defensive Team
- Batted .338 (73-216) with nine doubles and 12 homers while also contributing 37 RBI, 50 runs, 20 walks, 16 hit-by-pitch and seven stolen bases
- Ranked second on Alabama for hits, average, runs and stolen bases while finishing third in homers, slugging (.546) and on-base percentage (.429)
- Improved on his average against SEC foes, batting .342 (41-120) with four doubles, five homers, 14 RBI and 21 runs scored
- Led Alabama with 41 hits in league play, a total that tied for sixth among conference hitters, and ranked 11th in average across the SEC
- Also earned an invite to the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team Camp in Cary, N.C., this summer where he played on the Summer League Tour
