Sydney Wenstrom Named CSC Academic All-American

The senior rower earned third-team honors from the organization
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama's Sydney Wenstrom was selected as a third-team All-American by College Sports Communicators (CSC), the organization announced Tuesday.
Wenstrom is Alabama's first All-American since 2019 when Raien Emery was recognized as a first-teamer. The accolade is Wenstrom's third national honor in her final year with the Crimson Tide, as the senior also received CSC Academic All-District honors as well as being named a Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Scholar Athlete.
Alabama's trio of CSC Academic All-District honorees (Lizzie Hall, Lauren Lowe and Wenstrom) are the first for the program since Gianna Rucki (2023) and Izzie Gonzales (2021).
