Lebron Earns Invite to 2024 USA Baseball Collegiate National Training Camp

The rising sophomore is part of 56 of the premiere non-draft eligible players invited to the USA Baseball Complex this summer
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama shortstop Justin Lebron was invited to the 2024 USA Baseball Collegiate National Training Camp, USA Baseball announced.
Lebron is one of 56 of the premiere non-draft eligible collegiate players who were invited to Cary, N.C., for the summer. The group will take part in a two-game Stars vs. Stripes intrasquad from June 26-27 at the USA Baseball Complex. USA Baseball will then split the collection of players into two rosters. The International Friendship Series roster will take on Chinese Taipei in a five-game series, while the Summer League Tour roster will square off with select teams from the Appalachian League and the Coastal Plain League over a four-game stretch. The summer slate will then culminate with a Fourth of July matchup between the two rosters in Fayetteville, N.C.

Justin Lebron
Infielder, Freshman
- Excelled in his first season with the Crimson Tide, starting all 57 games with 56 at shortstop and one in center field
- Garnered First Team All-SEC, Freshman All-SEC and SEC All-Defensive Team honors
- Batted .338 (73-216) with nine doubles and 12 home runs
- Also recorded 37 RBI, 50 runs scored, 20 walks, 16 hit-by-pitch and seven stolen bases as a rookie
- Finished second on Alabama in hits, average, runs and stolen bases while ranking third in homers, slugging (.546) and on-base percentage (.429)
- Was even better in SEC action, batting .342 (41-120) with four doubles, five homers, 14 RBI and 21 runs
- Led Alabama with 41 hits in conference play, a total that tied for sixth in the league, and ranked 11th in average among league bats
