
Kynadie Adams Climbs Up the Leaderboard on Day Two of NCAA Regionals

The Crimson Tide sits in 11th place as a team after the second round at the Tumble Creek Club
CLE ELUM, Wash. – Alabama's Kynadie Adams climbed up 13 spots on day two of the NCAA Cle Elum Regional, moving into 31stoverall on the player leaderboard at 7-over par 151 (77-74). As a team, the Alabama women's golf team sits in 11th place with a team total of 611 (303-308).
The Crimson Tide have recorded 21 birdies throughout the first two rounds of the tournament, which ranks as the fourth most among the field. The Tide will be paired with Virginia Tech and Seattle in the third round of the Cle Elum Regional, Wednesday morning beginning at 11:55 a.m. CT.
INVITATIONAL HIGHLIGHTS
- Kynadie Adams posted a trio of birdies in the second round, carding a 2-over par 74, her second lowest round of the season
- Mattie Frick (75-78/153) sits in 42nd overall at 9-over par
- Elina Sinz sits in a tie for 47th overall with a 36-hole total of 10-over par 154 (76-78)
- Harriet Lockley posted a team-high 13 pars in the second round, sitting in 50th overall at 11-over par 155 (77-78)
- Sarah Edwards rounds out the Crimson Tide's lineup at t52nd at 12-over par 156 (75-81)
TEAM RESULTS
- Stanford moved into first place on the team leaderboard at 18-under par 558 (284-274), with Duke in second place at 6-under par 570 (282-288)
- Stanford holds the top three spots on the player leaderboard with Paula Martin Sampedro leading the way at 8-under par 136 (68-68)
