Alabama Lands Campbell Transfer Christabel Ezumah

The 6-2 forward will join the Crimson Tide for the 2024-25 season
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama women's basketball team welcomes forward Christabel Ezumah to the 2024-25 team, head coach Kristy Curry announced Monday. Ezumah joins the Crimson Tide after spending four seasons at Campbell where she was most recently named to the All-Coastal Athletic Association defensive team and third team.

- Started in all 31 games during the 2023-24 year, leading the team with 12.4 points per game, 8.2 rebounds per game and 1.8 blocks per game
- Finished the year with four 20-or-more point games, while scoring double-figures in 19 contests and collecting eight double-doubles
- Posted 10 double-figure rebound games during the season
- Concluded the year second in the CAA in blocks (55) and rebounds per game (8.2)
- Owns the second-best field goal percentage (min. 400 attempts) in Campbell program history, shooting 58.7 percent (330-562) for her career
- Ranked second on the program's all-time blocks list with 134 and 15th on the Camel's all-time rebound list with 619
- Dished out a career-high 28 points against league-leading Stony Brook last season
- Only player to start in all games (31) and led the team in total scoring (329), rebounding (284) and blocks (60) and was an All-Big South first team honoree during her junior year
- Scored in double-figures 18 times, including three games with 20-or-more points, and recorded eight double-doubles with 12 games in double-digits for rebounding

- Prior to her collegiate career, she was a four-year varsity player for Lanier High School where she helped lead the team to the 6A 2019 Georgia State Championship title
- Selected to the all-state time twice and the all-region team three times
- Played club ball with FBC Hoopstars
- Member of the National Beta Club and the National Honors Society with three consecutive years of honors achievement
- Daughter of Christ and Crystal Ezumah and has two siblings, Debaris and Michelle
