
Crimson Tide Baseball Earns No. 2 Seed at NCAA Tallahassee Regional from May 31-June 3

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama baseball will take part in the NCAA Tallahassee Regional at Dick Howser Stadium from May 31-June 3. The Crimson Tide will be joined by UCF, Stetson and host Florida State to open postseason play.
The Crimson Tide, who is the No. 2 seed, will get Regional play started with the third-seeded Golden Knights at 5 p.m. CT, while the No. 8 nationally seeded Seminoles and No. 4 seed Hatters meet at 11 a.m. on Friday. The first round of NCAA Regionals will begin on Friday, May 31 and run through Monday, June 3. Each Regional is double-elimination with only one team advancing from each Regional site into NCAA Super Regional play.
Alabama will be making its 27th all-time appearance in the NCAA Tournament and is playing in back-to-back Regionals for the first time since 2013-14. The Crimson Tide holds a 74-53 (.583) overall record in the NCAA Tournament, including a 60-37 (.619) mark in Regionals. Alabama has claimed eight Regional Championships in program history including titles in 1950, 1983, 1996, 1997, 1999, 2006, 2010 and 2023.
