STILLWATER, Okla. – Alabama's No. 20 Loudmilla Bencheikh and Anne Marie Hiser fell to No. 6 Fiona Crawley and Carson Tanguilig of North Carolina, 6-4, 4-6, 11-9, in the NCAA Doubles Championships Round of 32 on Tuesday. Bencheikh and Hiser became the first Alabama doubles team to appear in the event since 2017.
The Match
- North Carolina started strong finding an early 5-1 lead in the opening set
- The UA duo went on to win three-straight games, bringing the set to 4-5 heading into game 10, before Crawley and Tanguilig (North Carolina) came back to win set one, 6-4

- Bencheikh and Hiser continued to hold the lead before forcing a third set tiebreaker after a commanding 6-4 victory in set two
